Model-Based Optimization of a Wastewater Treatment Plant: Hakkari Case Study

Wastewater must be treated in order to reduce the environmental impact of used water and ensure efficient use its resources. Physical, chemical, biological treatment techniques are treat domestic wastewater. It's crucial either optimize existing processes for wastewater, which has different characteristics terms wastewater characterization, or appropriate technologies, taking into account conditions region where plant will built. In this study, Hakkari city centre, there is no discharged without treatment, was designed modeled using GPS-X simulation program.
